  • Dr Faith
    Steven Faith, OD

    Dr. Steven Faith received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1986 after completing his undergraduate work at University of California, Santa Barbara. He also has a graduate degree in education from UC Berkeley with an emphasis in reading and learning disabilities. In addition, he is Board Certified with the American Board of Optometry, a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and is a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association. 

    Additional professional associations include serving as past Clinical Instructor at UC Berkeley, School of Optometry and Past President of the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society. He is past “Young Optometrist of the Year” with the California Optometric Association.

    Dr. Faith is a Past President of the Livermore Valley Rotary Club, Past Chairman and Board Member of the Pedrozzi Scholarship Foundation and has been a mentor with the Granada and Livermore High School Career Centers. He is very active in youth sports and Boy Scouts. His hobbies include golf, automobiles, skiing and DIY projects of all types. He and his wife, Colleen, have two sons, Jared and Alec.

  • Teresa Yim, OD
    Teresa Yim, OD

    Dr. Teresa Yim received her degree as Doctor of Optometry from University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1984 and her Master in Education from the U.C. Berkeley, School of Education in 1985 after completing her undergraduate work at University of California, Davis.

    Dr. Yim is passionate about helping her patients in the office as well as serving the underserved locally and in Cambodia. Her interests also include biking, camping with her family in Yosemite, and reading good books, mentoring women and eating good food with her family.

    Professional associations include Member of the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Yim is a past board member of the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society and a Clinical Instructor at UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She enjoys full scope of family vision care and strabismus.

  • Dr. Kuntz
    Shawna Kuntz, OD

    Dr. Shawna Kuntz earned her degree of Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 2004 after completing her undergraduate work at University of California, Davis.
    Having grown up with an optometrist father, Dr. Kuntz understood early on what a wonderful and unique profession optometry was and still is. She loves taking care of her patients and thoroughly enjoys making a personal connection with them.

    She enjoys the camaraderie of a group practice and appreciates the satisfaction and challenges that come with private practice.

    Dr. Kuntz has been an active member in her hometown community of Livermore; she has coached soccer, led girl scout troops and was a board member of the parent teacher organization at her girls' school. She and her husband, Josh, have two daughters, Maya, and Katie Mae. Together they enjoy traveling, bike riding, camping, baking and playing wallyball. Combining her hobby of traveling with the joy of her profession, Dr. Kuntz has participated in Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, giving free eye examinations to the needy outside the United States.

    Additional professional associations include Clinical Instructor at UC Berkeley, School of Optometry, and is a member of the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Her special interest within optometry is children’s vision.

  • Andrea Melendez, OD
    Andrea Melendez, OD

    Dr. Andrea Melendez received her degree as Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 2004 after completing her undergraduate work at University of California, Davis. While in optometry school, she met her husband who is also an optometrist. Together, they moved to Livermore in 2007 and Dr. Melendez started working at Livermore Optometry Group. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve patients of all ages in Livermore, many of whom have become friends.

    When she is not enjoying her time at work, she can be found helping out at her two daughters’ school and Girl Scout troop. Dr. Melendez also loves hiking, swimming, biking, and camping with her family during their free time.

    Dr. Melendez’s professional associations include membership in the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society, the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

  • Melanie Mason, OD
    Melanie Mason, OD

    Dr. Melanie Mason received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 2011 after completing her undergraduate work at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. Dr. Mason completed a residency at UC Berkeley in Primary Care and Specialty Contact Lenses with an emphasis on urgent care diagnosis and management. She received her Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry in 2013.

    As an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley School of Optometry, Dr. Mason returns to Berkeley one day a week to teach optometry students in a clinical setting. She has served on the Board of the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society since 2011 and has filled the role of President, Past-President, and Continuing Education Director. She has been instrumental in creating an optometry assistant program, recognized by the state of CA, that gives community members in search of a career, the opportunity to be educated and certified as an optometry assistant. In 2013, Dr. Mason was the recipient of the Alameda and Contra Costa Counties Young Optometrist of the Year.

    As a doctor, and a mom of a child who has vision problems, Dr. Mason is a huge advocate for children's vision. She is a volunteer for the InfantSee Program, which provides a free comprehensive eye exam for infants 6-12 months old.

    Dr. Mason loves spending time doing anything outdoors with her two children, Clara and Levi, and Husband Daniel.

  • Pamela Jetter, OD
    Pamela Jetter, OD

    Dr. Pamela Jetter received her degree of Doctor of Optometry from the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry in 1995 after completing her undergraduate work at the University of California at Santa Barbara. A Livermore native, Dr. Jetter is enjoying practicing optometry in the Livermore area again.

    Professional associations include being a member of the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Association, the California Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association.

    Dr, Jetter is actively involved with youth sports, particularly soccer, and enjoys volunteering in the community through the Boys Team Charity.

    Interests include hiking, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Greg, and two sons, Nolan and Charley.

  • DrMorales
    Michelle Morales, OD

    Dr. Michelle Morales received her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University at Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2017 after completing her undergraduate degree at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She practiced optometry for a short time in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to the Bay Area. 

    Dr. Morales enjoys spending time with her husband and their chocolate lab and is looking forward to providing quality eye care to the Livermore area.


  • Jonathan-Pham-OD
    Jonathan Pham, OD

    Dr. Jonathan Pham received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2021 after completing his undergraduate work at University of California, San Diego. Dr. Pham also completed a residency in ocular disease, geriatric optometry, and low vision rehabilitation at VA Palo Alto Health Care System.

    As an optometrist, Dr. Pham finds joy in providing patients thorough care and establishing connections within the community. He is passionate about helping people meet their visual needs and educating them about their health as understood through the eyes.

    Dr. Pham’s hobbies include training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kick boxing, taking photographs with his film cameras, and discovering new music. Perhaps most of all, he loves making friends with people from all walks of life. He is humbled to serve the town of Livermore and is looking forward to meeting you.

  • Clark Abramson, OD
    Clark Abramson, OD (retired 12/2020)

    Dr. Clark Abramson received his degree of Doctor of Optometry from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Optometry in 1973 after completing his undergraduate work at University of California, Davis. In addition, he is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Abramson is a member of the Livermore Rotary as well as the Livermore Granada Boosters. He was actively involved with Granada Little League Hall of Fame. His hobbies include golf and fishing.

    Additional professional associations include Past Associate Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley, School of Optometry; Past President of the Alameda Contra Costa Counties Optometric Society; member of the California Optometric Association; American Optometric Association, Contact Lens Section; and member of the California Optometric Laser Associates.
